Wedding dress dupe: Galia Lahav Vs Allure bridals
Who doesn’t love a good dupe? While I firmly believe in the saying 'you get what you pay for,' sometimes the budget just isn’t there. But every bride deserves to feel on-trend, beautiful, and confident in their choice, no matter the price.
Don’t get me wrong—Galia Lahav designs some of my all-time favorite wedding dresses. But the one I’m about to show you comes with a $19,000 price tag, while the average wedding gown costs around $2,000. Am I saying don’t buy it? Absolutely not! If you can, go for it! But for brides working with a smaller budget, there are still so many gorgeous options out there and to never let your budget discourage you.
Allure Bridals is well-known for their consistency in the mass-produced bridal market, offering brides affordable yet luxurious designs inspired by high-end designers like Galia Lahav, Berta, and Martina Liana.
Their latest gown bears a striking resemblance to Élysée's style C749, which you can see here in its full ensemble. Similar to Élysée, each piece is sold separately. The primary difference? Allure's version features a lace-covered skirt instead of voluminous tulle—a change that can easily be adjusted with different skirt options available in-store. Another subtle distinction is the lace cut-out shoulder detail, an interesting design choice reminiscent of Galia Lahav’s aesthetic. Despite these small tweaks, the overall vibe remains undeniably similar, and all for under $5,000. Thinking of altering the shoulder lace yourself? Just kidding—but maybe!
